SharePoint (Modern Sites) - Making a Document Read Only Tutorial

In this video, you will learn how to make a document read-only in Microsoft Teams using the Office 365 suite.
By default, when you share a document in a Teams channel, all members can edit it.
However, there may be times when you want to restrict the document to read-only mode, such as for a final version or a briefing.
To do this, start by opening the document in your browser through Microsoft Teams, OneDrive, or SharePoint.
Then, click on "File" at the top left, followed by "Information," and finally, "Click here." This will change the document's permissions, making it no longer modifiable by others who have access to it.
If you want to allow modifications again, simply click on the same location.
This feature allows you to easily control the editing capabilities of your shared documents.
Mastering this skill will help you manage document access and ensure the integrity of your work.
